All Saints’ Day Celebration
Sunday, November 6, 2022
Our All Saints’ Day celebration will take place in worship on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 10 am. On that day, we will remember our loved ones who have died in the past year. There will also be an open opportunity for remembering those we love but see no more.
I would like to extend an invitation to you, your family, and your friends to be present in worship as we give thanks to God for the lives we have been blessed to share.
There will be a table in the sanctuary covered with lit candles representing those who passed in the past year. As your loved one’s name is read, a candle will process to the altar. You or someone you designate will carry the candle.
If you would like us to acknowledge a loved one, or wish to nominate a family member or friend to carry the candle, please notify the church office by November 3rd. In the absence of a recommendation, an escort will be provided from within the congregation. Arrangements can be made by calling or emailing our Office Administrator, Suzanne Lattanzio at office@umc-cornerstone.org.
May you feel the rich blessings of Christ’s love, and may your memories and the promises of God bring you peace.
