Cornerstone has 15 spots reserved to help pack meals at the Feed My Starving Children in Schaumburg on Saturday, June 12th. 

Masks will be required. Ages 5 and up can volunteer.

If you cannot donate your time, please consider making a monetary donation to FMSC. Each hand-packed meal costs just 24 cents, so your impact grows quickly:

• Skip a $5 coffee, donate that to FMSC, and 20 children receive a meal.

• $52 funds a box of MannaPack that can feed a child daily for 7 months.

• $88 provides a daily meal for one child for an entire year.

• $365 provides a daily meal for one family for an entire year.

Our “why” is sobering. The current COVID crisis continues to devastate the poorest communities around the world. We’re hearing desperation from partner after FMSC partner. In Haiti the value of the country’s dollar has plummeted, doubling the cost of a simple bag of rice and making food literally unreachable for many families. One of our partners there put it this way, “This food is so important now. It is gold. It is gold!”

 And the need continues to grow. The UN’s World Food Programme estimates that if current trends continue, the number of people hungry globally will reach 265 million this year and 840 million by 2030. Simply put, we have to act now.
