Cornerstone’s History a Part of Elgin’s Holy Hill

A new book, Elgin’s Holy Hill Part 1, has been recently published by local author John Weiss. He examines the origins of Elgin’s iconic downtown, and highlights Cornerstone’s beginnings as the First German Evangelical Church in 1855 and it’s growth and change throughout it’s 150+ years history.
