May 2023 Pastor’s Letter

Dear Friends,
Our lives as Christians are filled with questions: How are we invited to live as members of a faithful community? What does it mean to care for others? How can we embrace and share the beauty of the world we live in?
The worship series this month, Come and Be, addresses these questions through scripture and the society of honey bees. We can learn so much about our Christian life from the humble bee. A bee can only live in community, working for the good of others. Bees engage in selfless acts of sacrifice. They share good news and resources with others. Christians, like bees, are invited to go into the world to find what is beautiful, take that beauty and transform it to give it back to the world as something even more beautiful.
At Cornerstone Church, we believe that your whole life is important to God. It is important to us as well! In our work, our rest, our worship, and our entertainment, we strive to glorify God and enjoy the abundant life that has been given to us.

On June 1st, Cornerstone will welcome LOVKN. Steven is a young Christian singer/songwriter who has been touring in the United States since 2018. LOVKN has a passion for gathering people together to sing and worship with original music that addresses the joys and trials that come with walking a life of faith in Christ.
