Life Talks: Love to Know Postponed
There are so many things we would love to know! The Love to Know: Life Talks series is designed to be a safe space for teens to ask questions. Youth in grades 6-12 are invited to join the conversation and learn more about life and faith. We will have a meal, enjoy some fellowship, and praise God.
The Movie Group Returns!
After a year out of action because of COVID, the Cornerstone Movie Group will be going to see the movie “Respect” on Saturday, August 28 at 6:15 at Charlestowne Cinemas in St. Charles. Tickets should be purchased ahead of time. We will go out to eat and discuss the movie afterwards.
Westward Road Concert at Cornerstone
Sunday, Aug. 8th at 6 pm. at Cornerstone UMC, Elgin, IL. A Westward Road concert leaves you uplifted by their message of hope and encouraged to live a life of trust in God. Their new take on gospel music along with their smooth family harmonies and ability to lead God's people into His presence through worship will have audiences of all ages falling in love with this fun and energetic trio.

January 2021 Letter
Our Christmas celebration has come and we rejoice because Christ is Lord! The calendar page has turned it is 2021! 2020 is in the past and yet, the turmoil is still with us, pandemic mitigations are in effect, the fear and grief, illness and loss remains. What shall we do, how will we live into and live out of the truth that Christ is Lord?
New Prayer Initiative
With the new year comes new opportunities for us to be in prayer for one another, lifting each other up to the Lord. Cornerstone is starting a new prayer initiative in January 2021, where the congregation will be invited to pray specifically for three Cornerstone families each week.
