Mulch Help Needed
The trustees are looking for some help to spread the remaining mulch pile around the grounds on Saturday June 19th starting at 8am and ending about noon. You will need scoop shovels and garden rakes.
Wednesday in the Word
Our next study begins Wednesday, June 9th, and our friend Jon Hutchison has graciously agreed to lead us (and anyone else who wants to join) in a discussion series based on his new book, Reasons to Suffer. The book uses Jon's personal comments and experiences plus the New Testament books of First and Second Peter to look at suffering experienced by Jesus' followers. The series will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9.
Feed My Starving Children Meal Packing

From the desk of Pastor Melissa: I had the pleasure of spending time discussing the Holy Spirit with some of Cornerstone’s youth this week - it was a joy. So often we reduce the Holy Spirit to one Sunday, one story: Pentecost. But the Holy Spirit is so much more.

Spirit Lake Ministry
The Spirit Lake Ministry is a UMC-sponsored mission in support of the peoples of the Spirit Lake Nation, which includes six reservations in the Dakotas and Minnesota. One part of the outreach is Shoebox Christmas, a program that provides Christmas gifts to children on the reservations.

May 2021 Pastor’s Letter
When Jesus appeared before his friends after the resurrection he said to them, “Peace be with you!”. He greeted them a few days later with those same words of peace. Over and over again those who followed Jesus needed these words of greeting and reassurance because they were afraid and unsure and they didn’t understand what was happening in their hearts or in their world.
